Miami Chicken & Pizza
If you’re cruising down Darwen Street in Blackburn and your stomach starts growling for something indulgent, Miami Chicken & Pizza is the kind of place that grabs your attention-and holds it with flavor. Tucked away at 48 Darwen St, this unassuming spot is a local favorite for late-night cravings, quick bites, and comfort meals that never disappoint.
Let’s talk about what hits first: the menu. This isn't just your average chicken-and-pizza joint. You’ve got options that range from crispy, juicy Chicken Tenders to the heartier, saucy Chicken Parmesan. The Chicken Burger Meal is another crowd-pleaser, especially when you’re after something filling but handheld. And if you’re the kind who loves that cheesy, meaty combo, the Meat Feast Pizza practically oozes satisfaction. Bonus points if you’re in the mood for something a little different-yes, there’s even an Asian Style Pizza on the board.
What really sets Miami Chicken & Pizza apart is its ability to hit that late-night sweet spot. The kind of place where you can roll in after a long shift or during a weekend Netflix binge and walk out (or order out) with a Fish Sandwich, Pepperoni Pizza, or even a warm, toasted Bagel. They’re fast, flexible, and most importantly-they serve halal food, making it an inclusive choice for a wider range of diners in Blackburn.
Now, while their delivery option is a lifesaver for night owls and lazy lunchers, do bear in mind: if you’re ordering during peak hours, wait times can stretch up to 3 hours. Yeah, three. It’s not ideal if you're starving, but consider that a testament to just how in-demand they are. People are clearly willing to wait.
That said, takeaway and dine-in options are available too. If you’re nearby, dropping in to grab a Chicken Fingers box with French Fries or a fresh slice of pizza is totally worth it. The interior is casual, no-frills, built more for function than flair-but that’s kind of the charm. No fuss, just good food.
Accessibility-wise, Miami Chicken & Pizza isn’t the most wheelchair-friendly spot. There’s no wheelchair-accessible car park or seating, which could be a downside for some customers. But if you’re mobile and looking for a fast, flavor-packed meal, this place delivers-literally and figuratively.
Another edge? Their menu is ideal for solo diners. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or dodging the hassle of cooking dinner, their small plates, like chicken strips and loaded fries, hit just right without leaving you bloated or overwhelmed. It’s also a go-to for late-night eats when most other places are winding down.
Let’s not skip over the pizza game, either. It’s not overly greasy, toppings are generous, and the crust sits at that ideal middle ground between chewy and crispy. From a basic Pepperoni to a fully loaded Meat Feast, it’s dependable comfort food that doesn’t pretend to be artisan-it’s just good.
So whether you're craving crispy chicken, cheesy carbs, or a satisfying halal meal that hits the spot after a long day, Miami Chicken & Pizza has earned its place as a Blackburn essential. It might not be five-star fancy, but it knows exactly what it is-and it does that well.

Not sure why they are not rated higher? Used them twice, both via delivery, second time they forgot to include the chicken wings, I called them and they delivered the wings quickly and apologised sincerely, other big places like kfc and mcdonalds wouldn't do that! The food is very good and for someone who is as fussy as I am, and a former chef, I feel it was better chicken than KFC, the fries also better and the price better, I hope they become a large chain, and maintain everything as is apart from the gravy, it is not as good as KFC gravy, but I am sure with some work and research they can find a way to match it or beat it, start with adding some salt!, overall this is now our favourite takeaway place in blackburn and we have tried dozens.
Supreme burger meal. But instead I use grated cheese and have green chillies on it.Very good!! ️
Great value for money with quantity and quality. The service is always top notch and always getting a bit extra from the guys ;) (Big Up Hussain!)Fried chicken and Strips are top notch full of flavour and always piping hot.Only downside is that sometimes the local riff raff of Darwen Street can interrupt your time.Other than the above this place is a place to go!
